The small Barbora machine was installed in the fall of . The successor should arrive sometime in  within the roughly five-year cycle. At the same time, Barbora should serve as an additional device for a few more years.Karolina's successor, which was commissioned in the summer of , is due to arrive in . ITInnovations' contract will expire at that time, when Ostrava is obliged to provide  percent of Karolina's performance to the  EuroHPC organisation  under the European Commission.

EuroHPC is building a network of European supercomputers, and Ostrava  Chinese American Phone Number Listcontributed a percent to the acquisition of Karolina. For local needs, the machine can run a few years longer.Almost a billion for e-infrastructureITInnovations has to obtain funds for new supercomputers from the Ministry of Education, specifically from the  Komenský OP JAK.

ITInnovations is part of the  e-INFRA group , where, together with the organisations  CESNET  and  CERIT-SC,  it operates computing, data, cloud and network infrastructure for Czech science and academics. The group as a whole  is asking  for  million crowns for the modernization of the e-infrastructure within the framework of OP JAK, and part of it is to go to supercomputers.Europe's fastest supercomputer starts.
